Gottman Institute Consultant and Master Trainer

Stacy Hubbard is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Gottman Therapist and Master Trainer, as well as consultant for The Gottman Institute. She earned her Master’s degree in counseling with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy from Portland State University in 2005. She passionately pursued training and certification in The Gottman Method due to the immense benefits to the couples she worked with while using the method. She is one of 30 Advanced Gottman Clinical Trainers in the world. She has created programs for The Gottman Institute. She is based in beautiful Southern Oregon, where she lives on 10 acres with her husband and four awesome dogs!
Daniel Macca

Professional Certified Coach, Relationship Consultant
Daniel is a professionally certified coach and consultant who works with individuals and organizations to maximize their potential and reach their personal and professional goals. He has extensive experience working in community mental health, specializing for 15 years in supporting parents, families, and couples. Daniel has served as a lead trainer for iPEC Coaching Company since 2016 and has trained thousands of coaches. In addition to his professional pursuits, Daniel is an avid drummer, mountain biking enthusiast, and outdoor activity lover. He has been happily married for 20 years, and family is his primary value.

Yoga
Liana brings us our Saturday morning yang yin yoga class, suitable for all levels! Liana always had a passion to teach. After graduating from the University of Alberta with her education degree she became a teacher at both the junior and senior high levels. Her love and passion for yoga grew stronger as she discovered various styles and the effects it was having not only on her body but also her mind. After practicing yoga for five years she decided to blend her two passions and become a yoga teacher. Her first 500 hour training was in 2010 and then followed by Baptiste training in 2011. She wanted to share her passion with her home town of Lethbridge, Alberta and so in 2013 she opened Hot Yoga Lethbridge. Her trainings then progressed with prenatal, synergy acro, rocket and yin yoga.
Kari Berridge
Fitness
Kari has been helping individuals reach their fitness and lifestyle goals since 2004. She is a certified fitness trainer with the Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association (AFLCA) and has a designation in group fitness, fitness with portable equipment, resistance training, and indoor cycling. She is also certified in TRX suspension, VIPR, Barre, myofascial release, and pre- and post-natal training. Because safety is a priority, Kari is trained in CPR and First Aid. Kari has participated in numerous sporting events and activities including bodybuilding which she took 3rd place in both categories, triathlon, adventure racing, marathons, ultramarathons including the Death race, Sinister 7, the Grizzly Ultra and Blackfoot ultra, rock climbing, the MS bike tour, tour d Alberta, the DV 100 bike race, competitive tap dance, Soldiers of Fitness and the commando course. She is passionate about the body and mind connection and owns her own fitness business supporting others with their fitness goals.
Ariane Olshansky

Ariane Olshansky, a certified professional coach, matchmaker, and divorce coach, offers comprehensive guidance through every relationship stage. Drawing from her personal journey of navigating an amicable divorce that resulted in thriving children and a harmonious co-parenting relationship a decade later, Ariane brings a unique blend of empathy, expertise, and experience to her coaching practice. As a master certified intuition medicine practitioner, Ariane utilizes holistic approaches such as guided meditation, energy medicine tools, sound therapy, and dance to facilitate healing and personal growth. She specializes in supporting individuals of all ages through transitions, empowering them to flourish in times of change. Beyond her coaching expertise, Ariane is a sought-after speaker and co-author of two impactful books, "The Transformation Within" and "Grateful Hearts." Additionally, as an inventor with two US patents to her name, Ariane has demonstrated her creativity and innovative spirit in various endeavors.
Bianca Sinclair
Snowy Mountain Forest Therapy
Bianca is excited to facilitate nature connection and weave together mind-body-earth awareness. She trained as a certified guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (2023) and brings other bodyfulness and mindfulness trainings and teachings, including: certified and experienced yoga teacher (since 2007) for all ages/stages, Embodied Awareness facilitator (2015), meditation teacher (2017), and various psychology & somatic awareness studies. Bianca knows being of service in the world is a key to happiness and uses her skills of deep listening, compassion and insight to previously work as a Crisis Line volunteer (>250 hours), and also curated and facilitated 100’s of hours of in- person peer support groups. Bianca currently does transformational work full-time as a professional in a corporate environment “making good change happen” as a business analyst, project manager and change management specialist, and uses a mindful coaching lens to support people to be their best. On a guided Forest Therapy walk you'll have the opportunity to slow down, and get out of your head and into your body and senses. Participants are guided through a series of invitations to help pay attention, explore and connect with their surroundings and themselves. At times we will be walking, at other times we may be sitting or standing still and then rejoin in a brief group sharing circle. These slow walks in nature are typically one to two kilometers long and fit for all ages and physical conditions. A forest therapy experience enhances self-reflection, social interaction, and embodied awareness: a state of being fully present – connecting to your body, thoughts, feelings, perceptions and energy, while connected with others, the environment and the world.

Carrie-anne's greatest passion is bringing people together for healthy connection and she is so excited for this event as hosting at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge has been a dream of hers for a while! Experts began joining this team of event contributors, the Pomeroy was available, and so it was! Carrie-anne straddles the professional leadership coaching realm and the wellness sector, working to bridge the two (in nature!) wherever possible. This particular event was spawned after Carrie-anne noticed that the coaching calls with her professional clients would almost always mention their romantic relationship. From CEOs, to managers, to front line leaders and entrepreneurs: they all talk about their spouses or partners, and a lot in fact. Sometimes the entire professional call could be about one's relationship. Be it good or bad or otherwise, this suggested to Carrie-anne not only how important that relationship is, but also how it infiltrates all areas of our lives. She recognizes the great power in having stability in the partnership relationship framework to set us up for success in other areas. She is excited to explore the topic of healthy relationships and communication with you! You will see her around as your main point person for this event. She looks forward to getting to know you! The Rocky Mountains hold a special place in her heart, especially the hidden gem of Kananaskis. She gets there with her two children and her pup regularly and she's excited to show you around! Ontario Lake Country is her second home and she spends a few months a year there.

Day #1 | Friday
Morning: Saturday is full of healthy living retreat experiences. We start off with yoga and fitness with Kari and Liana before a decadent five star brunch. We launch into Healthy Relationship Workshop Number one with Daniel Macca as we explore tools from the world-renowned Gottman Institute for Relationships, as well as Personal Leadership.
Day #2 | Saturday
Afternoon Recognizing a lot of learning happens outside of the classroom, our Saturday Afternoon excursion has us wandering the majestic Canadian Rockies. Bring your woolies, as we will venture into the snow and have a Mindful Forest Therapy experience with Bianca. Breathe the fresh mountain air as we invigorate our cells for the evenings events.
Day #2 | Saturday
Late Afternoon: Upon return, enjoy a light snack before launching into Healthy Relationship Workshop Two. Here's where we get real with what's really happening out there for you as a single person. Daniel Macca will facilitate a workshop on how to work through some of the blocks encountered while single. Feel free to bring any topics to the table as we have open, respectful discussion about the good, the bad and the ugly!

Because our Spa Party is exclusive to our event, this is where we can really spend some time with one another having those meaningful conversations, and of course enjoy the spectacular spa facilities all to ourselves.

Morning: Sunday morning starts off healthy once again with our yoga and fitness! Yummy brunch and our final workshop round out Sunday morning. This last seminar is for Integration: What's Next in Your Relationship Journey. Ending early around 1 pm with intention, the space is yours for a light snack and mingling with your new friends.
